Varela, Francisco
The late Francisco J. Varela Ph.D. was Director of Research at CNRS (National Institute for Scientific Research) at the laboratory of Cognitive Neurosciences and Brain Imaging (LENA) located at the Salpetriere University Hospital in Paris, where he was the head of the Neurodynamics Group. He was also Senior Faculty at CREA, Ecole Polytechnique.
