Raymond Kurzweil invented text-to-speech synthesis and the electronic music keyboard, and last year he received the National Medal of Technology. Despite these accolades, he says something has always been missing in his life.

What's that? The chance to be a female rock star. The 53-year-old Kurzweil says that not only has he always loved women rockers, he's always wanted to be one. And now, through judicious use of computers, he's finally getting his chance.
